A program of a holiday consists of a parade of participants, dramatized show, vast competitive program, performances of creative collectives of the republic, concerts of masters of art, exhibitions, sport competitions in national kinds of sport and so on. A solemn opening with a dramatized show and parade of participants from all municipalities of the republic will be carried out in July 16. This year, a national holiday will be dedicated to 140th anniversary of Gregory Choros-Gurkin, an outstanding painter and public figure. In honor of this event, there will be an exhibition of reproductions of painting of Choros-Gurkin "My famous, kind and majestic Altai".
