State Assembly - El Kurultai (Parliament) of the Altai Republic.
 State Assembly - El Kurultai of the Altai Republic is the highest representative body of legislation of state authority on the territory of the Altai Republic. State Assembly - El Kurultai of the Altai Republic consists of 41 deputies, who are elected according to the law of elections. Deputies of the Altai Republic are elected for the term of four years.
The basic organizational form of the State Assembly - El Kurultai of the Altai Republic is a session. Next and extraordinary sessions of the State Assembly - El Kurultai of the Altai Republic are carried out according to the established Rules of the State Assembly - El Kurultai of the Altai Republic . The extraordinary session of the State Assembly - El Kurultai of the Altai Republic can be held on demand of the Chapter of the Altai Republic, Chairman of the Government of the Altai Republic.
The State Assembly - El Kurultai of the Altai Republic follows such principles as: unity and territorial integrity of the Altai Republic; division into executive, legislative and judicial power; free discussion of problems and decision making; systematic reporting and responsibility before the population of the Altai Republic, informing about activity of the Government of the Altai Republic; attracting of the population to the work of state organs; an adherence of validity, warranties of the rights, freedom and adherence of citizens' elective rights; responsibility for socially - economical, political and spiritual life of the Altai Republic.

1. Government of the Altai Republic annually asserts an Investment program in social sphere of the Altai Republic.

According to government regulation " About Investment Policy Committee of the Altai Republic " from 29.07.2002 N:202, Investment Policy Committee of the Altai Republic (a customer) concludes treaties with Ministries and Departments of the Altai Republic, region administrations o要 capital construction of objects in social sphere of the Altai Republic, stipulated by the Investment program in social sphere of the Altai Republic.
5. An investment policy committee of the Altai Republic represents data to a social investor about the target use of received means.

A government regulation from 18.11.2002 N:333, establishes an Interdepartmental commission o要 overcoming administrative barriers in business of the Altai Republic, which should promote a state policy in a field of support and development of small business, due to elimination of unreasonable administrative barriers; including elimination of duplication of control functions of various executive bodies, concerning private business. An Interdepartmental Commission also makes offers o要 change and addition of normative-legal base, regulating private business activity, and their interaction with Government of the Altai Republic, and other state structures, having a right of legislative initiative.
