 The Blazonry of Altai Republic is a symbol of the state sovereignty, expresses historical traditions, features of territories and living peoples.The Blazonry of Altai Republic represents a light-blue circle bordered with a narrow stripe of the golden color. It is a symbol of Altai's everlasting sky. Against a light-blue background are represented: -A three-headed top of one of the highest mountains of Central Asia, in the top of the light blue circle, which symbolizes the beauty, and power of the motherland. -A griffin, in the center, with a head and wings of the bird, and the body of the lion, which symbolizes a saint sunny bird, guarding the peace, calmness, happiness, and wealth of the motherland. -An ornamental image, at the bottom of the circle, of the two largest Altai rivers: Katun and Biya with their inflows. - A tripod between them -a hearth-a symbol of a native Land, fortress and eternity of a native house. Wavy lines under the tripod-a hearth - a symbol of Teletskoe Lake (The Golden Lake). The blazonry of Altai Republic in color looks as follows: -A light blue circle; -A three-headed top of Beluha is of the white color; -A griffin is of the white color with golden wings and stains of the same color on a trunk. The breast, claws and stain on legs and the tip of the tail are of the red - lilac color. The beak, bases and ends of wings, stain on the neck are of the black color; -A tripod-a hearth and a narrow stripe, bordering a circle, are of the golden color. -An ornamental image of the rivers and Teletskoe Lake is of the turquoise - emerald color. |
