State Flag of the Altai Republic is an official symbol of state authority personifying the sovereignty of the Altai Republic (state) in a structure of the Russian Federation - Russia. 2. State Flag represents a rectangular panel with four horizontal strips: The top stripe of the white color, the bottom o­ne of the light-blue and narrow strips of white and light-blue colors. Two colors of the flag of the Altai Republic correspond to colors of the State Flag of the Russian Federation and emphasize that the Altai Republic is a subject of the Russian Federation. The light-blue strips are a symbol of cleanliness, sky, mountains, rivers and lakes of Altai. The white strips personify eternity, aspiration to revival, love and consent of the peoples of the Altai Republic. The ratio of strips makes 1/4, 1/25 and 1/25 to width of a flag.
