About the folklore ensemble of throat singing "AltaiKai"

"Whenyou live longer in the mountains, listen attentively to the language of local population, adjust to their rhythm of life and listen by a fire to pathetic throat singing "kai"you start to perceive the mountains and life in the mountains absolutely in another way. Mountain is a way of life. Mountains are not only vital space for local cultures, but also the whole philosophy. Inhabitants of mountains lead a modest way of life, adjusted to the rhythm of the eternal mountains, free of routine vanities, filled with simplicity of a life, contemplation of the nature and a state of internal freedom and calm. Folklore ensemble "AltaiKai" which performs traditional Altai music and songs, all styles of thro at singing "kai" conveys very precisely the mountain man's state and moods when he recollects the past, thinks of the present and dreams about the future. Participants of the ensemble "AltaiKai" through the language of music try to share a philosophical outlook on life of the inhabitants of Altai in wkich spiritual values of diverse ethnic groups, their religious beliefs, legends, national eposes, oral narrations about legendary heroes and times have been merged. This language is understandable to everybody. "AltaiKai" is not just a talented group of young musicians and "kaichi", but also real keepers of the Altai people's traditional knowledge about the nature and life in the Altai Moun tains"...
