| | |   Today, in September 2, 2010, the Head of the Altai Republic, Chairman of the Government of the Altai Republic Alexander Berdnikov will participate in a session of the Presidium of the State council of the Russian Federation in Saratov city. A session of the State council is dedicated to regulation of internal food market; it will be chaired by the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. The Head of the Altai Republic Alexander Berdnikov is a member of the Presidium of the State council of the Russian Federation since June 16, 2010.

| | |  An inter-regional national holiday of Altai people "El Oyin-2010" will be hold in its traditional place - picturesque Kabaylu-Mezhelik valley not far from Elo village of the Ongudaysky region in July 15-18, 2010. A program of a holiday consists of a parade of participants, dramatized show, vast competitive program, performances of creative collectives of the republic, concerts of masters of art, exhibitions, sport competitions in national kinds of sport and so on. A solemn opening with a dramatized show and parade of participants from all municipalities of the republic will be carried out in July 16. This year, a national holiday will be dedicated to 140th anniversary of Gregory Choros-Gurkin, an outstanding painter and public figure. In honor of this event, there will be an exhibition of reproductions of painting of Choros-Gurkin "My famous, kind and majestic Altai".

In July 8-13, in the Altai Republic one will hold the second international conference "Dialogue of cultures: poetics of local text". A conference will be carried out by a staff of the philological department of the Gorno-Altaisk State University with the help of the ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation, ministry of education, science and youth policy of the Altai Republic and financial support of the Russian state national fund.

Ministry of tourism and business undertakings, ministry of education, science and youth policy, state establishment "Center of youth policy of the Altai Republic" act as organizers of this festival. | | |  Yesterday, in the Moscow city, one completed an agreement about interplay among the Government of the Altai Republic and public corporation "Holding MRSK" about realization of measures concerning providing with uninterrupted power supply and creating favourable conditions for connection to electric mains of consumers in the territory of the Altai Republic. An agreement was signed by the Head of the Altai Republic Alexander Berdnikov and General Director of the public corporation "Holding of inter-regional distribution network companies" Nikolai Shvec.
