| | |  In February 27-28, one will hold in the Gorno-Altaisk city an inter-regional tournament in Graeco-Roman wrestling on prizes of deserved master of sport of Russia, champion of USSR and Europe, owner of World Cup in Graeco-Roman wrestling Ivan Samtaev. The strongest wrestlers of the Siberian federal district will participate in this competition. In particular, wrestlers from Kemerovo, Novosibirsk and Tomsk areas, Altaisky and Krasnoyarsky Territories, Republic of Khakasia and the Altai Republic will compete in this tournament. Thrice-repeated Olympic champion, Hero of Russia, deputy of the State Duma Alexander Karelin came to the Altai Republic to support his old friend Ivan Samtaev.
