| | |   The objects of the Altai Republic are included in Sub-program "Civil aviation" of the federal purpose oriented program "Development of Transport System of Russia (2010-2015)", and these are: airport complexes in remote villages Kosh-Agach and Ust-Koksa. In this connection, the Government of the Altai Republic and the Federal Agency of Air Transport signed an agreement about realization of investment projects "Reconstruction of the airport complex of the Ust-Koksa village of the Altai Republic" and "Reconstruction of the airport complex of the Kosh-Agach village of the Altai Republic".

| | |  Last weekend, competitions in winter polyathlon (pneumatic rifle shoot, chin-up, ski races) were hold in the Gorno-Altaisk city. This is the first sport kind, in which sport teams competed within the bounds of sports contest of workers of the Gorno-Altaisk city. Unfortunately, one fixed a different date for one of the types of polyathlon, ski races, because of severe cold weather. As a result of competitions, a sport team of the Saving Bank of Russia won the first prize; the second place was taken with a team of urban administration and the third place with a team of the Gorno-Altaisk State University. The next planned event, giant slalom will be hold in February, 4 in Tugaya Mountain. In Total, during a year, within the bounds of sports contest of workers of the Gorno-Altaisk city, one will hold competitions in 13 sports.

| | |  In concordance with a decree of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev about awarding with state awards, deputy general manager of the literary publishing house "Altin Tuu" Alexander Tepukov is awarded with title of honor "Honored Culture Worker of the Russian Federation" for merits in the Mass Media development, culture and fruitful work of several years' standing. General Manager of public limited company "External economic production industry association of reindeer farms of the Altai Republic" Vladimir Mesheryakov is awarded with title of honor "Honored agriculture worker of the Russian Federation" for merits in a sphere of agriculture and conscientious work of several years' standing.

This year, a national holiday "El Oiyn - 2012" will be hold since June 28 up to July 1 in the Kabaylu- Mezhelik valley not far from Elo village. It will be devoted to the 90th anniversary of Oyrotsky autonomous district and 1150th anniversary of the birth of Russian statehood. Delegations of all municipalities of the Altai Republic will take an active part in this festival.

Ministry of Agriculture of the Altai Republic reports that the financial support of the republican purpose oriented program "Development of agriculture of the Republic of Altai," in 2012, provides allocation of subsidies from the federal budget in the amount of 209.626 million rubles.

| | | In 2012 year, according to the decree of the Government of the Altai Republic, the republican delegation will participate in five tourist exhibition: in a tourism trade fair "ITB" (Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin) in Berlin (Germany) in March 7-12, 2012, in an international tourist exhibition "Inturmarket 2012" in Moscow (Russia) in 17-20 March, 2012, in an international tourist exhibition "TurSib" in Novosibirsk (Russia) in 12-14 April, 2012, in an international tourist exhibition "JATA-2012" in Tokyo (Japan ) in September 2012, in an international tourist exhibition "World Travel Market" in London (United Kingdom) in November 2012.

In January 17, there was a regular meeting of the election committee of the Altai Republic. At the beginning of the meeting, Irina Karanina, a returning officer, addressed a meeting with information about current activity of election commissions of the Altai Republic. In the network of preparations for election of the President of the Russian Federation, members of election commission of the Altai Republic confirmed a number of committee's decisions.

Since the first of January up to December 22, 2011, ski complex "Manzherok" served about 137 thousand people, tourist services rendered to the sum of 35.7 million rubles. This was announced by director general of the mountain ski complex "Manzherok" Victor Gerasimov. Currently, a control packet of shares of the complex "Manzherok" is belong to subsidiary production unit of " Sberbank" - "Sberbank Capital".

The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation included the Altai Republic in the number of regions with the first degree of quality of financial management area. This assessment is given to the region based on analysis of activity of regional authorities in the sphere of budgetary policy in 2010.
